Cherry Vanilla Smoothie

Cherry Vanilla Smoothie
If the temperatures in my area are any indication of the summer ahead, it's going to be a toasty summer :/
But smoothies tend to get us through those heatwaves, at least for a little while :)

1~ Get together one cup of sparkling apple juice, half a cup of vanilla yogurt, one teaspoon of vanilla extract, and one and a half cups of pitted cherries (frozen or fresh; if you use fresh cherries, make sure they're pitted, and add one or two ice cubes in as well.)

2~ Put all of your ingredients in a blender.

3~ Blend.

4~ Enjoy :)

Cute Ice Cubes :)

Cute Ice Cubes :)
Hey girlies :)
So, with summer here now, you have more than one reason to want a cool, refreshing drink.
But what if you want something funner than regular, boring old ice cubes?

1) Pick either lemons or oranges and soak them in food dye.

2) Freeze.

3) Wa-la. Put them in a drink and you're ready to party :)

Where to buy nautical jewelry?

Where to buy nautical jewelry?
To answer the question: Etsy, of course! Now, I've been in love with nautical, ocean/boat/beach-inspired jewelry for a while, and I've noticed that you can find this specific type of jewelry on etsy.com :) Yeahh, you may be able to find it at Macy's or Kohl's or somewhere, but do you really want to hunt all around a store for the perfect anchor necklace or starfish earrings? Of course not, you want it to be simple and easy. And etsy.com is the perfect solution, beach babes :)

Summer Plans~ In 1, 2, 3!

Summer Plans~ In 1, 2, 3!
Hey there youuu :)
So, if your summer's taking a turn for the worse, don't fret, just plan some great stuff to do :)
Here's three ideas, showing two sides for each one.

1) Beach Day
Well, of course. Come on, who doesn't love going to the beach? Some people are going to be lucky enough to be able to go to the beach everyday, but if you're like me, you aren't. But, if you do live by the beach, grab some friends and head on down for some good old-fashioned beachy fun :)
If not, park it in your backyard or head to the local pool with your girls. If you hang out in your backyard, get some water balloons and, obviously, don't forget the hose and water guns!

2) Shopping, my dear. If you're not broke this summer, plan a trip to the mall with your closest adviser (in my case, my best friend Ashley), and hit up the stores for some new clothes and accessories (did someone say sale on wedges??). If you're low on cash, get together with some friends at the mall and window shop. If you see something you like, take note and save up the cash to get it :)

3) Adventuring. Biking, walking, hiking? Oh my! If you can, maybe take a gold-panning class or something like that. Cause who wouldn't want to spend 4 hours looking for a little bit of gold in a creek? Along the same lines, you could go to caverns, if there are any in your area, and take a tour :) Yes, yes, things like that do require a little bit of money. If you don't want to spend your precious mula on that (you're OBVIOUSLY saving that for numero dos ;D ) then spend a day biking with your friends, or wading in a creek in a shady forest.

Most importantly, have funnn, darlings :)
